The decision has been made. I am preparing for a Journey of my life time...
In the middle of April I am embarking on a motorcycle-solo-trip across America (and back).
On the included images you can see two routes - I will be travelling West on the Southern track, with only one jump North to Colorado Springs, where I have an appointment to 'shed the skin'... I am changing tires for the new Michelins.
The trip East, from the LA will be already in a warmer weather, so it will be sligtly North.
I am not sure if I am not trying to bite something I won't be able to chew... I can always stop and ship the bike home...
Hopefully I will reach the West Coast, at least. This country is huge. It looks like I will have in front of me about 7300 miles.
I am 66... and on my way to LA I will ride at least partially on the famous ROUTE 66. There is no better way to celebrate the retirement.
Keep tuned. The adventure is around the corner... To all who ride: Keep the shiny side up!
